How Wonderful Life Is

Despite being in a pretty screwed up situation,
I've come to realise from the people around me,
and the things that I have read,
that life is actually pretty wonderful.
Add a few colours into a picture,
and ta-da, you see life as it is, beautiful.

I feel an urge to be more mature,
but this time,
it was not an obligatory urge,
it wasn't because I have to be more responsible because I am the eldest,
it wasn't because I have to be more mature,
to be able to fit in.

This time,
it came naturally,
probably the concerns of my age is kicking in?

But then again,
who said mature people cannot make lame jokes?
and be retarded among their friends? :)
who said mature people cannot wear colorful clothes and look silly?

Been thinking a lot when I was back home,
how friends come and go,
how miracles actually happen,
how time passes in an instant,
how people are connected to one another.
What lies in the future?
My wedding? My husband? My children?

Just random thoughts.

i realised that i really did leave my place in melbourne a mess before going back home.
I apologise deeply to Tiong Eng who had to face the eye sore,
and i vow not to leave the house like a dump anymore even though it takes hours to clean up.

I'm happy with what I have now,
with how things are going,
despite
some hiccups in life.
Suddenly,
I've came to realise,
who can help me attain true happiness.

These people are the people I treasure most in my life.
They're the people who wouldn't leave you no matter how much you've broken their heart,
because they're always ready to forgive you.
but
only if you really do feel sorry for what you've done.

Had a very nice girl's night out with my girlfriends last night.
I'm proud of myself to have spent less than usual on a clubbing night.
And to dance on the dance floor with my girlfriends solely,
without alcohol,
and turning down guys who comes up to us,
and making fun about the way certain foolish idiots try to pick girls they can shag in a club.

I resolve to:
1) try cleaning up my room as often as possible
2) finish up my readings
3) study harder
4) eat more fruit and veges!
5) DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

Okay,
I've made a decision that I should take more pictures about my life here.
After all, what's the point of getting a 5MP camera phone and not putting it to good use ey?

I've been thinking about keeping this blog private and start a new one. After all, that's one step to move on from self pity and all right? Still contemplating, but then again, I've been blogging for 3 years now and I'm kind of attached to this blog. So i probably wouldn't.

I NEED TO STOP BEING SO INDECISIVE.

Shopping in Melbourne is satisfying.
I can be assured that at least 50% of the people who comes to Melbourne enjoys shopping here.

and i made an awesome purchase on Saturday.

My new haircut is awesome and I'm still loving it.
hope it doesn't go out of shape when it grows longer.
That'd just prove my mum right!
and i don't want that to happen!!
hah.

Still not done cleaning up the place,
i should go and continue while waiting for my dear housemate to come back.
Just received her phone call. She arrived safe and sound.

Probably head to get groceries later.
Thank goodness not all shops closes at 5.
