Gone With The Wind
New place, new life.
new friends, time flies.
It's over, she disconnected the plug.
Game's over, he's not playing anymore.
Game's over, she shuts her eyes tightly.
Resisting tears, she tells him it'll not work out.
New place, new life.
She's gone and so is he.
Gone with the wind.
Can't help feeling sorry,
can't help feeling upset.
But she doesn't want to hold on to something she doesn't see.
She don't want to hold on to something that she know will not turn out right.
He'll never understand,
He thinks she's just fooling around,
or probably think she met someone new.
Truth is, she doesn't feel that it's the same anymore.
New place, new atmosphere.
New things to be learnt.
More important things to be paid attention to.
She's sorry she had to go,
But it just didn't feel right anymore.
The faith she used to have, its light,
She could feel,
it getting dimmer,
dimmer,
and dimmer.
No oxygen was provided for it to continue burning anymore.
Not from him,
not from her either.
She's short of breath.
She know there's no point in apologising.
But, she's truthfully sorry.
She just had to go.
